Because there is, it is linked to a stream that goes under the campus, I go to the school that this was filmed at. That drain is actually just in the woods next to the road.

You are correct. These are just some friends of mine... some I met through the movie, some were in my film class. Some knew martial arts, and some just knew how to do a good old fashioned cinematic fight scene.

Wow, and I thought my lunch-table games of Spoons were intense! This brings it to a whole new level. The direction involved is amazing, making the cards actually work, and the fight scenes are great as well!

Ha ha ha ha ha! That's hilarious you mention that... a friend of mine and I always make fun of that part of the movie, but didn't actually know what he was saying "Cee," thought he was just making a weird scream that sounded like "Zee"... well fancy that, I understand now.

It is true, we used cee as intimidation at the beginning of fighting matches when I was in martial arts. Our instructor got mad when we didn't.

This was truly wonderful to watch.
I had no idea... from watching the vid, I garnered the general premise of the game. It wasn't until I read one of the annotations that it hit me that Spoons was an actual card game (though not quite played like this xD).
I am horribly tempted to introduce this amongst my friends, but I feel that it could end very messily.

It's a really fun game, especially with family (and friends too!)
It's even better if you can stealthily steal a spoon and keep playing, and passing cards for a good while before anyone realizes what you've done.

Looks like how we play spoons at my house. We've had to fix a wall as well as send people to the hospital to get stiches. Even plastic ones are dangerous with the right crowd.

This was great. I enjoyed it. And I just realized that the card game that this is called, "Spoons"
We used to play the same game but it's called 'Tongues' and instead of grabbing a spoon... you stick your tongue out and keep pretending that you're playing until the last person notices to do it too.

Wow! This was fantastic! Now I want to run out and play spoons! I was wondering how a film about playing a card game could be so long, but this was hysterical. I'm glad that I sat down to watch this. Hope all your future films are so successful!

this is absolutely awesome. my only complaint- my absolute ONLY critique- is that the audience doesn't really sympathize with any one character. Sure I wanted the blonde guy with the map to win, because that would be funny, but other than that, there's no caring really, for any of it. But effing great film, I love the pacing and the audio, and I'm most impressed that you did it (mostly) on your own. Definitely DD-worthy!
