Description
This four-armed green girl would be the fourth boss of my racing game Speed Prix. Megan Mercury is a Martian. Yes, a Martian named Megan is not very original, but she is totally different from DC's Miss Martian. Once the protagonist Max Speed have all sixteen trophies in the game, which includes the set of four trophies from the Astro Center, Megan would count Max's trophies on her four hands and then challenge him to a race on the track where he won his twelfth trophy from: Mars Hills, which happens to be on her home planet Mars. After Max won, she gave him the fourth and final key required to challenge the world champion of Speed Prix, Chuck Chump. Though, when Max beat him, Chuck wouldn't give up his title as world champion to someone who hasn't collected all the Time Medals. And the final Time Attack in Hub Park can only be unlocked by doing all the other post-game challenges. While these Time Attacks don't give you any opponents to race against, you are aiming for the best time, and Megan would occasionally have her best times scored in Time Attacks. Also, with Heinrich Franklin's disqualification, the area bosses would replace him in racing challenges, so Megan would participate in the Token Challenges in the space tracks that the Astro Center transports you to. And at the Hub Park, the other regular racers drop out because they find it hopeless with Max's unbeatable streak, so the bosses and secret characters fill in for them in the Token Challenges at Hub Park. And that includes Megan Mercury. Though it won't include Chuck Chump because he really doesn't want to race anyone with less than twenty Time Medals. Good thing Megan has enough fingers to count that high when she had to convince Chuck to race Max. Though, beating him won't be enough to win when the disgraced Heinrich Franklin takes revenge by transporting everyone into the Speed Station, where they all had to fight their way to the track and beat him in a 15-on-1 relay race. So you get to play as Megan for a part of the Final Relay. Outside of story, Megan can be bought at the shop after winning the Expert Cup.
