One thing I like to play police in BeamNG is to chase criminals and apply this move to them, just like they do in real life. The Chilean police may not do it or throw a band of nails in case of persecution, but hopefully they would one day, despite the fact that the persecutions are mostly done in the center of cities like Santiago.

Also the PIT maneuver can be done when the suspect is about to turn in a curve, so it can be a great option, except if there are no people in that area who get run over of course.
