Personality: Sadie was a handful when she came to us, having been beaten by her previous owners. After work, she is now comfortable around humans, enough that she can even seem joyous to see the handlers when they come around. She balks at the lunge lines, however, and will kick up a fuss at the sight of a whip. She takes pride in rolling in the dirt after a bath.
History or Background Story: Sadie was rescued from an abusive family and brought here to Second Flight, where we have worked with her constantly to build her trust. It's taken time and love, encouragement and a willingness to stick with her that has brought her into being the proud, fierce creature she is today. In her first few days at SFS the staff had already fallen for her spots... Not that you can ever see them do to the layers of dust she likes to wear.

Since her training, she's ben willing to try free jumps and the such, and we are going to try her in show jumping. She's bitten two of our handlers when lunging though, and bucks when we try to start her gentling... But we know we'll press through it.
