Same people,
Different smiles.
Same friends,
Different woes.
Same family,
Same foes.
An out-of-body experience,
And only those closest can see.
A sudden stranger in a familiar land,
I know these faces,
And I know these stories,
Yet somehow they don’t know me.
The crescent moon eclipses,
And the grandfather clock
Rings its chime.
The golden glow enveloped me,
Now I’m in a world that is not mine.
Suddenly I’m in a whole new world,
