Description
Decided to take Geiger (from my X-Men comicverse fic "My Atom Bomb" ) and draw her in the X-Men Evolution style! I'm very tempted to write a story taking place in that universe just because it would be so different and fun. Lenore was never in public school in her 'canon' story, so her and her twin brother attending Bayville High and seeing their powers manifest would be interesting to write. Connor tries to hide his mutation and enters a friendship with Jean, Duncan, and the rest of the football team while Geiger hangs out in remedial algebra with Fred and Todd and gets detention for drawing dick monsters or passing crude notes back and forth.
Maybe Connor joins the X-Men while Lenore joins the Brotherhood? I'm here for some sibling drama.

Nicknames: Ankle-biter (twin brother), Glowstick (Todd/Fred), Glowbug (Rogue), The Nuke Mutant (Logan), Lo (everyone)
Birthplace: Doune, Scotland
Occupation: Bayville High transfer student
Powers: Radiation emission, inducing mild radiation sickness, small detonations (As a teenager, she can only create small explosions, akin to a pipe bomb. As an adult, she can cause 10-15kt nuclear blasts once every few days but with great physical pain and risk of self-destruction).
Weaknesses: Powers are unstable and uncontrolled, leading to huge fluctuations between very weak to very strong radioactive energy. High likelihood of making friends and loved ones sick on accident (sorry, Todd). Very weak to the cold.
Passive abilities: High body temperature (120 degrees F average). Glowing eyes/skin randomly appear and disappear. Appears surrounded by specks on camera, smells like ozone, causes headaches and ringing ears with close physical contact.
Interests: Drawing, insects, animal bones, horror comics, gory old monster movies, vintage clothes and antiques, ww2 era music, 80s goth music, gross-out humor.
Fun Facts:
Always carries a Walkman around because she has a sensitivity to noise.
Lenore is on the autism spectrum! Her biggest special interests include: horror movie practical effects, Frank Sinatra, Vault of Horror comics, and the history of the atom bomb.
Her safe foods are crunchy snacks like pretzels and rye chips.
She has trouble drinking tap water but her go-to drink is earl grey tea.
Throughout the story, she has several love interests, mainly because Lo tends to misinterpret kindness and politeness for romantic interest. Eventually, someone does reciprocate her feelings, but they're both too awkward to make the first move (and have both recently had their hearts broken).
One of her best friends is Fred Dukes, who she bonds with because they are both bullied for their weight. He becomes a replacement big brother figure when Connor turns his back on her. She also gets along well with Rogue, Tabitha, Todd, and Lance (though Lance mostly just tolerates her because they have mutual friends).
