Description A rough painting done with gouache on posterboard that took about an hour, all done from memories of what I fell in love with of the city itself.

The lights forming trails on rain-slicked streets, the water reflecting in spite of the waves, and boats seeming to glide on glass causing it to ripple, the greenery so close you can walk along side streets for mere blocks and find yourself surrounded by foliage, mountains catching the vestigial light of the setting sun and making the sky seem to be streaked and dappled as if by a giant paintbrush, the stars starting to sparkle above the clouds... I miss it... that's what I fell in love with and found beautiful of Seattle itself. It does have it's own personality, and it's wondrous, magical and vibrant when you choose to look instead of simply survive the grind.
