The Zevo System exists in my AU Kelvinverse New Start series.

It is the home system of the Ceree, members of the United Federation of Planets.

SYSTEM INFO
The Zevo System is located in the Japrori Sector in the Beta Quadrant, about 60 light years from Earth.
The system has one star, two planets and twenty moons

STAR:1
Zevo: Type K (Orange)

PLANETS: 2
Ceree I: Formally class M (Earthlike)
Nymeno: Class J (Gas giant)

1. CEREE I
Class: Originally M (Earthlike)
Size: 19,000 km in diameter (Larger in size and mass than Earth)
Population: 3 million

Ceree I was originally an M class world.
50,000 years ago its moon's orbit deteriorated, causing it to break apart.
The resultant world-wide rain of fiery death rendered the planet's surface temporarily uninhabitable.
Surviving life retreated underground.

Ceree cities are beneath the surface in a vast network of subterranean tunnels and caverns.
These caves/tunnels have abundant streams, rivers, pools, lakes.
They are also rich in bioluminescent plant-life and fungus.
There are many insects and anthropods, some of which grow to immense size.
There are also small reptiles, amphibians and mammals which originally lived on the surface but adapted to underground.

The surface of the planet is mostly barren wasteland.
There are lakes and inland sees.
Near the entrances of many caves the Cereeans have cultivated plantlife with small animals.

Class: D (Barren, rocky)
Ceree II is a silicate/metallic moon, similar to Earth’s Luna.
Large parts of it broke up 50,000 years ago resulting in a ring around Ceree I

2. NYMENO
Nymeno is a Class J (Gas giant)
Size: 50,000 km in diameter (About the size of Neptune
Moons: 20
Inabited Moons: 3

Inhabited Moons
Zymessi
Class: P (Glacieted)
Population: 8000

Zymessi is covered with ice and glaciers and temperatures are rarely above freezing
Despite this there are hearty plants and animals

Myspring
Class: L (Tundra)
Population: 20,000

Myspring, although cold, is slightly warmer than Zymesi.
It consists of mountains and tundra
There are many plants and animals.

Oraymee
Class D (Barren, cratered)
Population: 1000

Oraymee is like Earth's moon: barren and cratered with no atmosphere.
The Ceree have built several domed outposts.
