Description
This was supposed to be a historically accurate wax tablet, but I made it too small/shallow to work properly. I got my hands on some synthetic ivory sheet that happened to be the right thickness (pencil on ivory was also historically used as a reusable notepad) and I covered a mechanical pencil with matching paper. The hinge/pencil holder is a piece of chamois. Everything except the wooden frames and “ivory” came out of my stash.
