This is the second version of today and with the First Speedpainting of the Year!
This drawing was made for my Art History Class, this one we had to pick both a branding and a sculputre from either Greece or Rome. Once we picked this, we had to promote a product that could be something they sold, a book, etc.

So for this drawing the branding I picked was Versace, a Fashion House created by Gianni Versace, because of the use of Medusa on their logo (and also because of the love Gianni had for Greek Mythology specially obsessed with the story of Medusa).

And the sculpture was "La Medusa de Rondanini", this sculture was a Roman Copy but the Greek one was long gone so no one knows who was the original artist was (of both the original and this copy). This sculture was made of marmol but it was destroyed on World War II and rebuild with red brick (ladrillos rojos) and painting to look as if it was marmol.

The product that is being sold here is a book that would be distributed inside Versace or even as a gift for some frequent buyers with the story of the brand, to know a bit of the byography of Gianni Versace and important momments/Fashion Walkways, etc.

For the Second Version the idea was the same but as the book cover was Medusa with one of the most recent products they had at the time I did this drawing that was "Greca Goddess Bag". I really recomend taking a look at Versace Youtube Channel too to see the crafting of this bag.
