At Welles U campus, the bats struck down with relentless fury; students unlucky to have been outside found themselves running for cover, only to be taken by surprise and bitten one by one. One student started puffing up with an audible squeak, his head getting compressed deeper into his ballooning body. His friend watched in horror as his buddy took the intense pressure of his bloating, only to find himself bitten by a bat as well, now he too was swelling up. One college nerd who everyone hated, and was already chubby to begin with was too slow to outrun got bit, to which he was treated to the disdainful sight of his own swelling. One by one, students flew. Even the fastest jock on the running team couldn't escape the savagery.
