Blaze was adopted by Applejack when she was just a filly as her father didn't know how to raise a dragon pony. Applejack had some experience thanks to Ivy hanging around the farm. Apple is three years older than Blaze so she takes the big sister role very seriously and helps look after Blaze whenever her mother is busy.Blaze helps out with picking the apples during harvest season, and helps run the treadmill with Big Mac during cider season.
