Soooo, I was super pleased with how this was turning out until I started to do the background. :I
Not really happy with it at all now, but spent waaay too much time on it to redo it. ;o;
Dirt does not like me let alone dirt in motion. >_<

Literature:
The air was crisp as the monumental mountains gathered together to watch the beings of the earth mill around the event grounds. Horses, canines, dragons, and a whole slew of other beings crowded among the contestants. Anticipation was heavy in the air as well as the stark smell of sweaty horses, some from nervousness and others from working themselves up before the race. The event had quite the turnout and the activities shouldn't disappoint those who came to watch. The seal brown stallion straightened himself from his stretches and glanced around to the opponents that were immediately lined up beside him. To his immediate left there was a silver stallion, he looked to be in good spirits yet zoned in on the task at hand. A further look landed his gaze one someone who kindled his curiosity. A dark mare with lovely golden strings delicately laced over her coat stood rather calmly. Her mane and tail were put up in a braid as his was, but this revealed something intriguing. She was blind, in a more literal sense than most. Dante was about to make conversation when someone bumped into him from his right. Turning to the disturbance he was met with an irritable glare from a colorful stallion. Despite the beauty of his coat his temperament was foul. The stallion seemed to snarl, but Dante just looked past him and left him alone. Next to that stallion was an innocent looking young stallion, he was a Calavera. He had heard of them before, but had never met one in person. His coat was jovial and a joy to look at. The blonde stallion looked a little nervous, but happy none the less. Among all the horses here were a few other recognizable horses. Horses that represented the breed that Dante himself was. It was quite an honor to have them here, though he hadn't been able to converse with any yet. Suddenly a loud noise snapped Dante to attention, the event was about to start and the first on the list was this massive drop in front of him.
