I'm in South Australia.

But in Adelaide, on King William Road in Hyde Park there is a little night cafe called SPATS. It's 2 storey and is filled with old antiques and loads of little red lamps. And they serve delicious desserts, all decorated really delicately, coffees, and teas and alcholic drinks too. You can have some savoury meals too. Downstairs in the front room is normal wooden chairs and tables, in the second room udner the staircase is a few poky nooks to sit or lounge. I think around the other side are some 1950s style couches around tables. And then up the stairs (which are quite steep) are some even more pokey eating areas.

I adore that place, but haven't been to it in quite a few years. I have heard of a different place since then called "The Boho Bar" on the eastern side of Adelaide, that's proving to be very popular, and is open all times of the day. It has different eating and themed areas. And the best bit (well for me) is they serve "high tea" upstairs in this antique looking area. It's a night club as well I think too. I haven't been to Melbourne for about as many years. I went there occasionally on the weekends because I was assisting on a coach and charter trip. But I haven't really seen a whole lot of Melbourne's cafe scene.
