I WILL submit some art soon. For now, have some more stamps.While I am aware that Robotnik was always "Eggman" in Japan, I refuse to acknowledge that. Way to go, new-generation Sonic.

I'm an old school Sonic fan, so I ALWAYS refer to this Robotnik by "Robotnik" never "Eggman" yeesh!

Its a nickname he gave himself because he is so fat. Dr. Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik, Its just like Miles 'Tails' Prower, his formal name is Miles, but he calls himself Tails. Same with Eggman.

In the comic I believe that they are really 2 different people. I think it was Eggman who replaced Robotnik after he died. I think Eggman was Robotnik's parallel demention self.
I think in the games though they are the same person, and Eggman is a nickname for him.

Well, based on the pictures you're using- You're correct that this particular cartoon version of Robotnik is not "Eggman."

i absolutely agree!!!! All the nes episodes of Sonic sucks! They changed absolutely everything and mainly they started to draw them more in ANIMEish way -.-" the onl episodes are better and i miss robotnik too -.- and those two helpers.. i dont know their name in english

Nostalgia IS a powerful thing. But times change man, it's like saying they should always be "King Koopa and Princess Toadstool" instead of "Bowser and Princess Peach". But maybe I only say that because I grew up with Mario instead of Sonic.

I think Eggman had more of an impact on me when coupled with how...kind of unremarkable Sonic has been since then. Also, in my opinion, Peach and Bowser sound much better than Toadstool and (just plain) Koopa.

I think that's because in Japan he's known as Koopa and the regular koopas are called Nokonokos.
