Game tiles: 64x64 pixels (circa 1992)Found these last night digging through an old hard drive.
Right after Wolfenstein 3D was released in 1992 I worked on a similar ray-casting FPS. The setting was a derelict spaceship and these were some of the tiles I produced.
The game's engine used a 256 color palette, but these only use about 128 colors, with the other 128 colors reserved for sprites and UI.
Created on the PC using either DeluxPaint, PhotoStyler, or a flint hand axe. Hehehe.
