Here he is the Walmart exclusive Transformers legacy Velocitron Speedier 500 Collection: Robot in Disguise 2000 Universe Scourge. I really excited for this figure when it was announced and it was a lucky find at the Walmart I got hime from. The Dark counterpart of Optimus Prime (RID 2000). A recolor of the legacy laser Optimus Prime and with light piping. I may like the laser Optimus Prime, but Rid Scourge is really color using this toy's mould. And the light piping really makes him evil looking and is accurate to the cartoon version. And has the upside down G2 Autobot Symbols. In the cartoon show he was originally an autobot sent to earth on a mission with 5 other autobots. But something have went with their ship and they all were reverted back to protoforms in stasis pods. Until their ship were discovered by Dr. Onishi and was found by both the Autobots and Predacons. But, Megatron stole the pods and altered them to be evil. They became the first Decepticons of that transformer universe. For Scourge his pod not only scanned a tanker truck, but also Optimus Prime. So he gain an appearance similar to Optimus Prime making him the first dark version of Optimus Prime. His original toy's history was that he was also a recolor of the g2 laser Optimus Prime too. But in Japan Takara gave him the inverted G2 Autobot Symbols and in Hasbro he given the transitional decepticon symbols. Another fact: he was package just like how the g1 transformer toys were sold. With the toy packaged in vehicle mode instead of robot mode.
