Overview
The Cosmic Era Flash System is similar to the After War timeline’s, and three types are utilized. Type 1 is based off the Gundam series deployed by the United Nations Earth—which uses this system to control "Bit Mobile Suits"— with its sub-program, Type 1.5, being utilized to connect to the Satellite System, by accessing the registration and authentication system upon request to the Archangel, Kusanagi, or Eternal. The effective connection range of the Flash System is uncommonly large, as Gundam Artemis—like the Gundam X—is able to link up with the with the installed system on a properly-equipped ship even when it’s on the ground and said ship is on the moon, a distance of around 380,000 km.
Type 2 is based off the Space Revolutionary Army’s version; Gundam Areus has this system built into its control system, and by using it to control the machine's body and armament instead of Bit MS, it achieved high performance that far surpasses that of conventional MS. This one is carried over to Gundam Helios.
It should be noted that none of these can interact or interfere with the existing Quantum Communication Systems, especially the DRAGOON System.
