Description
Time taken: ~5hSo yea, I don't wanna rust my modelling skills, so been re-working sporadically on several of my old SMG and Pistol designs, this one actually turned out (somewhat) good, so I gave it a go into the software.
Apart from the initially clunky and crude designs of the early militia - once factories and quality printers were acquired and manned by the partisans - more refined and elegant weaponry could be produced by the military workers.
The TPP*-12 (provisory name*) is the 12th design of an all-in one portable platform, the piece which is mostly synthetic polymer has little more than 3,2kg of mass, but can be handled as it had 1,2kg due the world's weaker gravity. Its long magazine houses 32 old-style .40 ACP rounds, on top of the firearm a 9-slot rail is screwed onto place. The trigger has a "w" shape for it is sensible to pressure to change mode of fire, top-finger slot is useful to limit the pressing to single-fire, while pulling the trigger at a lower point drives it into full-auto. For medium-long range combat, the short barrel isn't a shortcoming, as it is equally interchangeable with its bigger brother's, the assault-rifle variant (the TSV), although fixing a bipod or resting stance for this is advisable.
The lower bar fixed between the handle and front-grip is "optional", it is not necessarily vital for operation, but advisable to prevent misfires and adequate resting of the equipment - needless to say, this bar received countless mods to support pliers, bipods, extra ammo and even improvised bayonets and axes, a brute add-on for such elegant force-multiplier.
Thoughtful of it users however, is the little ring on the front plate to hang keychains, medals, dogtags, or whatever trinkets the user may want to keep nearby.
