How how's my favorite Aussie doing? I absolutely love this piece... they almost look like they were mummified by vines that have long since died

Ha, hi
Thanks, it was really just random fun that took a few minutes to set up and I'm ok, recovering from coffee withdrawls though. Yourself?

Doing ok minus some migraines. Getting back into 3d, I hope. Decided to check out blender since I can't afford the C4D upgrade. I'm actually fairly impressed, though the interface is different than I'm used to.

Yeah the interface takes a fair bit of learning but blender has become pretty awesome lately, lots of power, particle stuff, fluids, some cool realtime gpu rendering engines and exporters available.

Do you know what causes your migraines? It's not computer use I hope
I haven't really done any 3D for ages.. months, maybe lots of months

I have problems with light sensitivity and the computer screen doesn't help, which is a large part of my inactivity. I've been seeing docs etc and am down to the last few treatments. Because of other health problems I'm limited in some treatments. I just saw a chiropractor yesterday and need to see him 3x a week to see if it might help. He says he may be able to help, has had some success. I'm hoping.
What've you been up to?

sentimentalfreak In reply to C-Williams [2012-04-07 14:08:43 +0000 UTC]
Damn that sucks, hard doing 3D without a computer screen. I understand though I can only sit here for short periods now.
I haven't been up to much, moved a truckload of hay which really sucked considering I'm allergic to it, little bits stuck in me everywhere and it's itchy as hell
Apart from that not a lot, working out, gardening (allergic to dirt too), umm put up some sheds, helped mum do some stuff, did something bad to my back, went for a walk, patted my kittys, UMMMM some other stuff too probably

I know they have some traction machines etc that they can stretch you out on and those tables to turn you upside down..
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
C-Williams In reply to sentimentalfreak [2012-04-13 15:37:49 +0000 UTC]
they have this bed that they call a traction bed that rolls a roller about 6 inches long and lifts you 6-8 inches off the bed hyper-extending your back. It is no fun at all, and you're on it for 10 minutes.

sentimentalfreak In reply to C-Williams [2012-04-19 07:22:13 +0000 UTC]
Ha, I have seen ones that stretch you and either hold you there or jiggle you back and forth =\
Sounds like fun I guess if it helps........

C-Williams In reply to sentimentalfreak [2012-04-19 15:26:42 +0000 UTC]
The one I love is the bed he puts you on before. It's a water bed, you lay there and it shots hot water against your back. It's all contained in thick rubber so you don't get wet. Feels really good. It's seems to be helping my head but so far not my back.

sentimentalfreak In reply to C-Williams [2012-04-20 01:24:14 +0000 UTC]
I WANT THAT! GIMME! I want my actual bed to do that
I wouldn't get off. I should probably see a doctor one day about my back
They will probably just give me nasty anti inflammatories.

C-Williams In reply to sentimentalfreak [2012-04-21 01:16:19 +0000 UTC]
I'd love to have one too! I have anti inflammatories and muscle relaxants they don't do much. luckily I don't need a referral to see a chiropractor, not that my doc wouldn't have referred me, it's just quicker this way.

Sitting all day probably doesn't help I should do something outside-ish tomorrow. I got stuck to my pc writing a stupid program from scratch and drinking dandelion tea as a coffee replacement... even though it has no caffeine. It tastes a lot better than I thought it would.

I've never had dandelion tea... hmmm. Sounds interesting. Never had dandelion wine either. Yeah you should probably move around from time to time, but I'm not so good at that either. lol

I try to tell myself working out for an hour justifies 14 hours of sitting behind a pc, but it's just not working
Oh man I miss wine, brb collecting dandelions and letting them ferment.

Good focus and background/foreground.

Hah...good one. did the same a while ago. [link] You can get a more smoother look if you flip the normal during the ivy-process. Then it creates them inside the character.
