The Valley in Spring, 2023

The first plein air painting of the season, I spent four hours in the crop fields above our village to paint the magnificent view of places where I usually take my dog for a walk. Originally, the idea to paint it occurred to me also on such a walk, and when I came home, I immediately prepared the canvas with plans to return to the spo the very next day. However, as it was so cold, windy and one couldn't see the sun over the clouds, I had to wait impatiently for better weather. Nobody wants to freeze their ar*e off standing beside the road, exposed to the strong wind!
I haven't done any post-plein air adjustments to this one and don't even plan to do so, except for signing it later.
