Ruby approaches everything with caution. The world is a big, scary place after all, you never know what might be dangerous... Their timid approach to the world was possibly influenced by them getting abandoned at a young age. Other wynglings might grow a thicker skin in conditions like that, but Ruby is far too pure and fragile for the rough life. They're very sweet and loyal to their friends, slightly clingy at times but rarely a sibling. Theye quickly become close and openly affectionate towards anyone who shows them kindness and love. They're also terrified of animals and bugs, though, interestingly enough, wildlife seems to have a great liking to them.
