Description
This was a drawing I did a while back, however I was very proud of it at the time. I’m not very experienced in the human drawing part of life and so, in my mind, this is probably the best I’ve done so far. Most of my human faces turn out rather ‘unusual,’ aka Sloth from The Goonies (maybe a talent within itself? ).
As you can see it was drawn from this screenshot of Basil Rathbone, in probably his most iconic role, Sherlock Holmes. Seeing it side by side I notice all the little inconvenient details I got wrong and all the features in desperate need of repair (like the space between his eyebrow and the edge of his forehead), but oh well, where there’s room for improvement there’s nothing you can do but try, try again.
Unedited except for obvious lighting and contrast changes for a clearer and warmer-to-the-eye look.
