What happens to Ame is a transformation,from her human form to her youkai form.Those clothes she wears are specially designed for those kind of youkais,so they can appear later if she wants.Normal clothes just sink in her,and are inmediately missing forever.

If you question why is that she uses a bucket to throw water to him when she has already the power of create and throw water with magic and does not need a bucket...mmmh...I don't know,maybe is because it's early in the morning and she was too sleepy to realize that.
