So, basically, the stories are not in order as I put it in comics. This issue is actually somewhere between the middle part and the last part of the series. I get pretty disorganized in creating comic issues because sometimes I just get bored and fresh ideas pop in the middle of creating the other issues.
Aileen got suspended of something she didn't do. Then here's Ted, a guy her personality frequently clashes with his, seeing him again after that incident. Despite the fact that they hang-out and solve mysteries together with buddy Jeff, Ted is not much of a guy she can really trust. Her great distrust towards men is basically what's stopping her and makes her feel safe instead of being vulnerable. It's their subconscious distrust towards each other is what makes them function properly and individually.
