oooooooooh that is gorgeous. i made the kingdom key, its in my gallery, but i dont know texturing or lighting so its not very good.
how did you get the keychain to look like it has weight and not like, stiff, if that makes sense

Thanks for the kind words. I took a look at your keyblade and your on the right path. Yours is a mix of the ingame with a few features of the cutscene version. Take a look at mine and use it for reference. It's based on the high res model from the intro cutscences. angeldad83.deviantart.com/art/… . Texturing and lighting are another thing entirely. Some people are only good at one or the other. I'd recommend getting a rendering script for your modeling program to use and study or learn the basic 3 point lighting setup. As for the chain, I Just moved each chain links rotation point to the center of the top of the link and then parented them together. I drew a curved line so I knew the basic path the chain would lay on. I could have run dynamic collision on the links with a gravity field but it was easier to do by hand than waiting for 2 hrs while maya figures it out. Hope I helped.
