Spring spriggans are spriggans that represent new life and renewal brought by the season of spring. Unlike their regular counterparts, spring spriggans are attached to a living creature, becoming territorial and doing everything in their power to protect their charge. They are capable of speaking and reading, however they rarely talk. Regardless of how nice they intend their words to be they always sound rude. Spring spriggans are also referred to as springans.
