Taken at a "Ghost House" house party - held at our first house in Portland. Set in our front living room with a few strategically placed lightbulbs for lighting the band. Pictured here is me playing bass for A Happy Death.

The bass belonged to another bassist playing earlier in the show - Eric from Pale Tourist. He got to use my Fender Bassman Amp and I got to use his Rickenbacker 4003. I had always wanted to play a Rickenbacker - once earlier I got to play this same bass at another show we played together. I lusted after Rickenbackers for a long time until I got my current and favorite bass - a beat up old Warwick. But, at the time, I was ecstatic for a chance to get to play another Ric.
