The Fall of Icarus from Greek Mythology. I like how it turned out. It's lineless CG and my experiment in using red/purple skin tones.
For those who don't know the myth:
Icarus and his father were imprisoned in the Labyrinth. Icarus' father made a set of wings made of wax and feathers for himself and his son, and together they escaped the Labyrinth. His father warned him not to fly too close to the water else the wings get wet and melt, and not to fly too close to the sun else the wings melt. Icarus got so caught up in the excitement of flight that he flew too close to the sun. The wings melted, and Icarus fell into the sea where he drowned. His father safely to land.
Moral of the story: Listen to your parents (j/k)
