MY goodness, this is marvelous! I love the slightly old look of the colors, and the texture is perfect! Not to mention the perspective is so great, so well centered, and the environment is the perfect frame for the picture! Just great, really!

This is great! But how do you screate thast paper effect? I've been trying to master that myself with no luck.

Thanks man! As for the paper effect, textures could be used to help sell the effect. But Also, the "noise" filter in Photoshop. But when using these two you don't always want your darks or shadows to be completely and utterly "black" because it really makes the work seem digital unless you want to sell a certain aspect of it as "inking" - but even still be careful. When adding textures and noise be careful so as not to overdo it. I'm not an expert so try google searching "photoshop paper texture effect or tutorials" or even look around here on dA.

LOL Thanks for the compliments! I just wrote that because the Iron Giant kinda looks like a rust bucket in this piece...and Hogarth by comparison is just a "little guy"
So I wrote that as a nod to another cartoon that I used to enjoy "The Big Guy and Rusty" that also featured a giant robot and a smaller "boy" (robot).
