"It was quite the delight, and I speedily knew
That feet-ticklin had conquered my soul through and through,
There was nothing so good to avoid feeling blue
But my barefooter's heart found a passionate brew;
I remembered a game and it gave me a clue
Where the losers would have to surrender a shoe,
And it got me to thinking just what I could do
To make other dudes crazy for barefootin too;
When I saw a friend barefoot it banished all rue
And I couldn't control how my passion just grew,
Til I just had to do what I knew to be true
And I started acquiring a barefootin crew;"

"It began when I kicked off my shoes once at school
And my buddy Jude said, 'Dude, you're breaking a rule,'

So I worked to encourage Jude's strengthening mood
For then right from the start his attention was glued,
By the end of the day there were no shoes on Jude
And my pal was a jubilant barefootin dude;
So we'd barefoot in spring and we'd barefoot in fall
During classes, at lunch, in the gym or the hall,
So did George soon, then John, and then Ringo and Paul
All our friends were soon shoeless, it spread to them all;"

"Our whole gang was barefootin with style and with sass
And then student on student, in class after class,
All agreed wearing shoes was a pain in the a*
And the whole student body would barefoot en masse;
Then our hunkiest teacher, the hot Mr Fleet
Gave my class all detention for having bare feet,
Til we dared him to join us and d* it was sweet
When he cried that barefootin was f*in elite;
Other teachers would barefoot, like young Mr Pell
One by one they gave in, their objections all fell,
Until soon you could see from the very first bell
All the faculty dudes were barefooters as well;
