Now that wasn't what anyone there might have planned
His delectable dawgs I would shortly command,
And he'd find his control to be built upon sand
So I smiled in assent as I offered my hand;
Though he'd rated my standards as those of a crook
He extended his hand and we solemnly shook,
And his shoe twitched again from the glimpse that I took
While I waggled a foot just to give him a look;
Then I vowed he would look back with joy at this day
When he'd let his big barefett both come out to play,
And I'd tickled him right into letting them stay
As he merrily threw all his shoes right away;

But we couldn't just start, there were terms to agree
The duration of time the foot-tickling would be,
And one firm precondition was easy to see
The Dean's feet would be tickled by no-one but me;
As we worked it all out to the finest degree
Thus denying the lawyers their heftiest fee,
When a dirge would begin or the grand jubilee
To go with my defeat or define victory;
For all barefootin dudes, I was more right than he
And my tickles would conquer, abandoned and free,
As hilarity reigned and decorum would flee
And the Dean would be helplessly giggling with glee;

So the town centred on their location of choice
If feet-ticklin were cars, mine would be a Rolls Royce,
As I gave the Dean's laughter a long-missing voice
And a barefootin town would be quick to rejoice;
We all quickly removed to the spot that they chose
Where I winked at them all as I wiggled my toes,
And my anticipation soon bubbled and rose
As his toes seemed to twitch through their shoes and their hose;
When the moment was clearly the best we could choose
For the barefooters there, i would get us our dues,
And I vowed that my foot ticklin ain't gonna lose
As the Dean slowly started untying his shoes;
