Description
Just then into my head came the voice of the Dean"I don't know what you make of this curious scene,
I've been carefully watching and trying to glean
A scintilla of what this behaviour might mean;"
"It's just like I told you right in the beginning
You shouldn't get down on our laughing and grinning,
What I see is saying your hopes must be thinning
They're barefootin tickle freaks, Dude, and I'm winning;"
"I don't see that you're winning our battle at all
They're all mightily struggling to keep from a fall,"
"It seems easy to see that they're heeding the call
If you study their faces, they're having a ball;"
At the moment, the feathers had moved to young Chase
"Why, just look at the strain and the pain in his face,
His reluctance is there and it's easy to trace
As he fights to hold back from the final disgrace;"
"What I'm seeing tells me that just isn't the case
It's your decorous training I see him erase,
There's a barefooter's soul in each dude in the place
And this far they're all dying to join in the race;"
"I don't make the attempt to read anyone's soul
Though perhaps it makes sense for a man of your goal,"
"You're just far too attached to maintaining your role
True enjoyment they found when they lost all control;"
"Now that has to be some kind of trick or a ploy
What in bare tickled feet could there be to enjoy,"
"If you get with the game, then you feel like a toy
And it's great fun to let out your true giggleboy;"
"As to that, I don't really know where to begin
For it seems all that does is just add to the din,
When we ought to be hearing the drop of a pin
And not lunatics freshly escaped from the bin;"
"All these barefeet are showing some mighty fine skin
When they're tickled just right, then it's like going gin,
And hysterical laughter's the mightiest win
From the sullenest Scot to the frigidest Finn;
