Description For it seemed the occasion was turning absurd
As we listened a minute, a second, a third,
Not a syllable uttered, no sentence, no word
Aaron clearly was laughing, but nobody heard;
There was no strain or tension at all in his face
It was obvious Aaron had come to the place,
Where the tickles were something you chose to embrace
An abundant delight, not a source of disgrace;
But although it all made the most curious sight
His big barefeet were clear he'd abandoned the fight,
Though I longed to be hearing his ticklish delight
I was happy at least that I'd always been right;

Next to Aaron were Abel and Adam and Art
Each was eagerly waiting for his turn to start,
To discover if shoelessness reigned in his heart
And if foot-tickles truly would play a big part;
When the Feathers had proven that Aaron did yearn
For the barefooter's ticklin I'd taught him to learn,
Then his tootsies they kissed like a delicate fern
And went on down the line to give Abel his turn;
And with Abel it all went exactly the same
For the Feathers of Truth and their feet-ticklin game,
From his mouth, though, no giggle or laugh ever came
Though his heart clearly burned with a barefootin flame;

At their feathery touch his resistance was done
Abel eagerly joined in the ticklefoot fun,
While the Feathers of Truth glittered bright in the sun
Not a sound did we hear, but I knew that I'd won;
For he couldn't control a broad grin of good cheer
That insisted on stretching from ear unto ear,
And the only small thing that was just a bit queer
Was that foot-tickled mirth produced nothing to hear;
So it went with each teen and with all of the men
Benny, Denny and Kenny to Lenny and Penn,
When their number had reached to a power of ten
Came a voice to my head and it spoke to me then;
