Description
Then I saw with delight how it lasted a bitAnd felt sure I was getting the better of it,
That it tickled him more than the Dean would admit
And I fervently vowed that I just wouldn't quit;
All his claims that his barefeet weren't ticklish were fake
He was giving his all for propriety's sake,
But the dude and his tootsies sure needed a break
And I sensed a new line it would suit me to take;
So I took up a feather and put it to use
Kept it stroking his soles mighty friendly and loose,
And pretending conversion was calling a truce
Feeling certain his laughter would honk like a goose;
"See, there's more to my tickles you don't understand
I could easily let it all get out of hand,
And foot-tickle each dude past the worst he could stand
That ain't never the pattern of nothing I've planned;
For there's surely a fact that I hope you keep clear
I don't tickle dudes' barefeet to fill them with fear,
But to lead out the joy of their inner good cheer
And it shows in the laughter of every dude here;
For I bring out a joy deep inside every heart
That for whatever reason they all set apart,
As I open a path and it flies like a dart
You'll be glad to join in once you're ready to start;"
Further into the tickles his puppies both leaned
And it gave me a sense of his will being cleaned,
But the Dean only said, "Please don't tempt me, you fiend
And stop being unfair," as I happily preened;
"They all longed for my tickles to break through the crease
Of their strongest resistance, and force it to cease,
And they fought for the moment of prime inner peace
As their laughter poured out in a mighty release;
I could do this forever," I told him with guile
As I feathered those soles with my cunning and style,
And I soon was rewarded when after a while
The Dean's tightly-pressed lips widened into a smile;
