"I could hardly believe it; I doubted my eyes
I was totally taken back with surprise,
But through all of their laughter and rollicking cries
I retained my composure and vowed to be wise;
Though I found the whole scene a most shocking disgrace
I regarded each tickler I saw in that place,
And the look of delight that I found in each face
Had me seeking decorum and finding no trace;
Then I shortly concluded the barefoot ticklees
Cast their modesty off with their shoes in the trees,
All that giggling and laughter, as loud as you please
The whole town must have caught some infectious disease;"

"I admit I was tempted to run right away
There was madness too strong for one man to gain sway,
But I couldn't just leave them, I made myself stay
As my sense of resolve grew ten times on that day;
So I looked for some men who might soon become bored
And instinctively wish to see order restored,
Which might bring the return of my rapid reward
'All this tickling must stop,' I most strongly implored;
In the hope that his foot-tickling passion was thin
I selected the parson with whom to begin,
'But why stop?' he replied with an impudent grin
'Tickling's too much d* fun, it just can't be a sin;'"

"And the chief of police wouldn't give me a dime
As he brushed at the soles of two crooks at a time,
And explained, 'Tootsie tickling's too f*in sublime
They're both too happy now to commit any crime;'
I though maybe the doctor would take up my part
With his toes being tickled he could be a start,
But he chuckled and said it was really quite smart
'Laughing's goohoohoohood for the hahahaheart;'
And a wise young professor advanced in degree
Cried, 'Dude, tickle my barefeet!' while giggling with glee,
'Ain't no stopping us now sohoho let it be
Kick your shoes off, get tickled with meheeHEEHEE!"
