Description

As the Neathly seasons pass it has become a tradition to light a foxfire candle for those who never returned.

Even though miles and miles of dark cold waters may separate the lost ones and the small point of turquoise-green light, hope has a way of acting as an amplifier.

Some rumors tell of long lost ones returning, giving recall to a single strong light that helped guide them back. This is the part of the rumors that travel between the small harbors of light across the dark Neath.

The other part of the rumors are common at first, but never reach very far.

Perhaps its due to the human minds own ability to shut down in face of danger, to not acknowledge what it cant handle. The rumors the follow the first snippet is usually short and different in wording. However, they could all be compiled to share the same meaning.

Sometimes, the light guides a lost soul back to its loved ones.

Love, Warmth, Light.

Sometimes, the light guides something else.

Empty, Cold, Dim.

Sometimes, the light guides.

Darkness, Darkness, Darkness.

This was supposed to be my Halloween picture for Fallen London. I set of a day or two for me to finish it and it ended up taking something more like a week.
