I believe I promised a finished Mer-Johnny, did I not? Well, here he is - a Mer Johnny, themed after Betta fish. I intend for him to have Black scales, and white fins with black stripes running through them.

It took a while to get the fins looking right, but after searching up Betta-merman creatures, and finding several beautifully done pieces, I finally figured out how the fins would transfer from such a little fish to a big Mer.
I'm thinking of putting this into a story, too - Johnny somehow gets transformed into a Mer, and needs to figure out how to transform back. In the story, Devi will eventually offer her help, maybe Squee, as well.

At this point in the story, though, he (Johnny) is in a private/hidden (most likely indoor) aquarium tank thing so nobody can see him, and while calm, is rather bloodthirsty.
I'm thinking that at this point in the story, Devi has hired a marine biologist, who has been saying a multitude of things (to Devi) that Johnny feels are insulting - while the poor Biologist is only trying to help.
