She's one of few folk who is friendly with the Grem Lyn, the strange faelike creatures who raised Tik-Chikki. Bells is really easygoing and charismatic and of course, being a bard, loves to make music and merriment. So she vibes very well with the chaotic little guys. She's perceptive enough to have figured out quickly that they have resting monster face and aren't actually angry or aggressive... well, okay technically a lot of their social graces ARE pretty aggressive but it's not out of malice. Seen here hopping onto Mildfire with a wave goodbye after being the accompaniment for a dance battle- Old Graok won again, he can do sick tricks swinging on his walking stick.
