Here's something that I did last summer when I was in Taiwan. Didn't have a whole lot to do during my timezone adjustment so I spent something like 12 hours with my laptop, touch pad, and eventually some mouse I bought at a 7/11 to vector this.It ended up around 140 layers when it was finished.
Original (reference art) was from Fujishima Winter Girls.
