The Poisoned Monastery is one of the main locations in the Sfidator series. It basically represents an abandoned church, ornated with colorful stained glass whose light reflects upon the red cross. The cross slowly absorbs the blood of the crucified victim, whose face is then added upon the vault under the form of a blood painting. The mechanism behind this works like a memorandum, the blood of the daimon's hosts modifying during their lives, Nova being one of them. If an ordinary human would be sacrificed upon the cross, the blood being absorbed into the wood, then the Monastery could go down. It was thought to be a sacred, impenetrable place, or so we thought until now...
