This picture was taken hundreds of years ago and they weren't any younger than now. So why are they so young in this episode?
Don't get me wrong I simply love the Gems in their young age. I'm just a little confused :3

I think the reason, Gems are so young, is that they had diffrent attitude back then and that influenced their physical age, just like Steven in "So Many Birthdays" episode.
