Alteima and Herman were always arguing with each other, even in ordinary everyday situations. But when it came to battle strategy, there was nothing to stop them. Herman’s cynical pragmatism clashed with Alteima’s dispassionate steadfastness, and there was a peaceful solution. Of course, in the end they came to a compromise, not without the help of Barclay’s combat experience, but none of them could change someone else’s opinion.
“And so on every time,” Barclay thought at such moments and simply watched, realizing that the last word was his as a commander, but he also realized that his combat experience was left behind and without these “disputants” a good plan would not work out.

Альтейма и Герман вечно спорили между собой, даже в обычных бытовых вопросах. Но если уж речь заходила о стратегии боя, то тут их было не остановить. Циничный прагматизм Германа напарывался на бесстрастную непоколебимость Альтеймы, и мирного решения тут было. Конечно в итоге они приходили к копромису, не без помощи боевого опыта Барклая, но изменить чужое понимание мира никто из них не мог.
"И так каждый раз, " думал в такие моменты Барклай и просто наблюдал, понимая, что все равно решение, как командира за ним, но и осознавал, что его боевой опыт остался позади и без этих "спорщиков" дельного плана не выйдет.
