"Don't feel too bad about this, I don't think I've ever seen a person drop the shower-head. At least now you'll get to experience the same things as your friend; as company property the entire process is open to you. Anyway, welcome to the Dream Dolls modelling team Mikiequin."

That had been a year ago. Since then Mikiequin and Yukiequin had been rented out to various stores, private functions, and even individual people, to serve as plastic eye-candy. Mikiequin discovered that even though she was now plastic, her and the rest of her mannequin co-workers weren't locked in to one pose. There was a set of chemicals that softened them up and allowed them to be posed in any position the person renting them wished, and the poses weren't always mannequin-like. Her current pose was a good example of that, her and Yukiequin had been rented out to a travel agency to advertise a sale on flights to Hawaii and had been posed to look like they were welcoming people to the island. Mikiequin had enjoyed that, as being handled while under the posing-chemical's influence made the pleasure of being transformed to begin with pale by comparison, and the pose had taken a lot of handling to get exactly right.

Thinking back on her past year, and looking ahead to the rest of her existence, Mikiequin silently thanked her friend and window-mate for bringing her along that fateful day, when her deepest-seated fantasy came true. If anyone had been watching her at that second, they would have noticed her plastic smile became just a little wider.
