This is why I like shooting in RAW - Yes this shot is nothing special - it was a quick happy snap on Christmas morning.Just happens that the flash failed for some reason. I could see in the dark shapes that the shot may be worth saving (not for any artistic reasons - just sentimental).
It amazes me every time just how much detail is stored in RAW that can be brought back to life.
Still just a happy snap - but to me a good example of why you should choose to buy bigger HD's to store your shots in RAW instead of JPEG!
