After five months of searching through thousands of stamps that blink and flash my brain into oblivion, I have finally decided to create a Stamp for this addicting series myself.

There's going to be a fourth book?
Dang. I forced myself to read the second one, as painful as it was, thinking that the third would be the last and the torture would end!
Does he at least learn how to create believable characters?

Wow, you didn't enjoy it? I'm surprised! I thought it was a very enjoyable story. And he started writing it when he was 15!

I've read so many Fantasy books in my life that I have very high expectations for them to be worth my time. Even some of my old favorite authors can't reach the bar anymore.
But, yeah, he started writing it when he was 15, and let's just say it was obvious:
His character development was lacking come on, even heroes and prodiges aren't perfect
The story line was straight as a lance a good story shouldn't revolve around a single person, it should be invested in all the important characters and, idealy, have several branching thoughts that wrap up together at the end
There were no surprises (save one in the second book, and that was the gold dragon) his bad use of foreshadowing gave away events rather than it built up suspense for them
And that's just a start. I had a much longer list going in summer.

Heeeeeeeeey, I just bought Brisingr last week! I had such fun reading the first one. It reminded me of a story I had started when I was really young. Great stamp btw

Oh nice!
I started reading the series right before Brisingr released (around September?). Love it, though! It's such a fun story.
Aww, and thank you!

Yeah, it's just interesting enough without being a huge mental drain, so it's really easy to read and relax to.
