Description
Out into the blood-soaked skyWe send our brothers
The last thing they hear is the way we cry
We send our sons
In a lonely plane they fly
We send our fathers
To another land, and we wonder why
Is it too much to ask for a little bit of freedom?
To leave the others alone, and deal with our own problems
Let the world be, they can think by themselves.
To a place ruled by woe
We send our brothers
Where desperation, sadness is all they know
We send our sons
And ask ourselves, why do they go?
We send our fathers
And hope their lives continue to glow
Is it too much to ask for a little bit of peace?
To look to ourselves, do what really needs to be done
And let everyone else do the same.
Out into the blood-soaked sky
The men, they are sent
To desperation and sadness – it is all they'll know
The men, they are sent
And we wonder why-
Why do they think it is all they can do?
The war, the killing, the weapons and violence?
Can't they see that the world's got problems-?
But us, we've got some too
The men, they say it is because they love us
And yet they leave, go far away.
In a lonely plane they fly
The men, they are sent
We hope their lives won't go
The men, they are sent
And we hope they will come home
Because we know what will happen in the end
The end, the end the end!
In the end they die, they all die.
