Now Onto the Picture!~

Heh... funny going back to the very first thing that really got me started on honing my artistic craft. Hard to believe I have come so far in the grand scheme of things...

So yeah, I watched Sonic the Hedgehog 2... OMGOMGOMG I LOVED IT WITH ALL OF MY HEART AND SOUL. I WILL BE GOING BACK IN A MONTH TO WATCH IT AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS THAT FXCKING GOOD! STRAIGHT [
*cough* GAY] HOT FIRE MAN~

Ok so what is absolutely hilarious is that... I totally called it. I called IT. I knew what they were gonna do there, and I am going to flaunt how right I was. (No one was trying to prove me wrong or anything, I just had two theories as to who'd be showing up next in the Sonic Cinematic Universe... and am I disappointed? FxxxxxCK NO! I am ecstatic! I couldn't be any happier!~)

Ok, so I don't actually have a reason for doing this pic, I just really wanted to draw Shadow. I love Shadow so much, and for those of you who didn't know... HE is the very reason my name is shadowfreak. Surprised? ...Nah. Didn't think so. I was that cringey 13 year old who wrote bad fanfics, made terrible ocs, and drew god awful fanart lol *cries* qwq

I wanted to make my own take on how he would look in the film. So obvious thing is obvious; I made him fluffy and made his quills a bit more sketchy to give it that spiny vibe like how Sonic has in the films. I didn't have a solid, or unique idea for the shoes, but I honestly feel like his rocket shoes are fine as they normally look... I mean, they are completely unique to Shadow, and they aren't based on any real human shoe... so it would stand to reason that they'd be unaltered, as they are completely manufactured specifically for Shadow. The chaos emeralds in the film are also incredibly smaller than the standard emeralds from the games so that is why he is holding a very smol emerald uwu

I also added red stripes to his two back quills, and his tail because I thought a little more color on him wouldn't hurt. After all, the rest of his body has stray red quills to give it more of a "natural" feel... [It's kinda like how some people have lighter hair streaked throughout their darker hair. That's where I got the idea mostly.]
Well that's pretty much it for now. I might be back later in the week with another Sonic pic... perhaps a certain gay hedgehog duo that I hold near an dear to my heart and have for a long time. I am weak for enemies/rivals to lovers... uwu [Death to all who oppose me!...metaphorically kek]
