Work's been kicking my ass but I've had some time to draw periodically so weeeee have some peepers

So lately I've been reflecting on my art and one of the main things I noticed I could improve was the eye shading. Most of the time I do something really simple and not that...eye-catching? God I'm so sorry it was right there but anyways yeeeee I drew a bunch of eyes, for the lineart I referenced several different animals (with the exception of the first one where I did my usual style) and then as far as the shading I kinda just experimented randomly.

Eye #1:

This one took the longest (can't remember how long just know it took longer) but it's my favorite and I feel like it'd match my style the best.

Eye #2:

Lineart was for a wolf I think? Has a lot softer shading just used burn and dodge and really didn't take me too long. It's nice, but seems a little flat in my opinion. Could be good for a more painterly style though if I just made the highlights a touch brighter.

Eye #3:

Lineart was of a tiger. This one didn't take too long either, tried to do a kinda combo of the first and second one? Tried to make it slightly more cell-shady though. The colors pop though and it looks better zoomed out, so something like this could work too though since it didn't take that long either, maybe slightly longer than the second one.

Eye #4:

Lineart referencing a snake, hence why the pupil is a slit and looks reptilian. This one probably took the least amount of time but the highlights seem a lil bright to me, I dunno. Maybe not. Probably my least favorite though.

Eye #5:

Imma be honest I can't remember what the lineart was referencing. Redid the shading halfway through 'cause I didn't quite like it. Looks okay zoomed out but feels like a worse version of #1 kinda.

Which one is y'all's favorite though? Trying to figure out which would be the best to go with so it'd be nice if I could get some other opinions.
