As a kid I grew up watching the Superfriends on TV, then watched Lynda Carter play Wonder Woman on prime time. Those long nylon covered legs were pure heaven for an impressionable mind like mine and help solidify my fetish for pantyhose and stockings when I got older.Wonder Woman in peril and bondage is always one of my favorite subjects and to watch iconic fetish models like Christina Carter play her is a real treat for me.
During all that time the outfit has changed a little but always for the most part it has stayed the same. Now the outfit has gone through a radical redesign and it is loved by some and hated by others. Me, I am still undecided and reserve judgement for the time being. I am doing this image as a hand off from the old to the new as a way of wishing luck to the new Wonder Woman and I hope that whatever the uniform looks like, the theme of Wonder Woman remains unchanged.

Bravo my friend! You actually beat me to this, I had a similar idea. This looks fantastic you really are upping your game. I think we all agree that Linda Carter made an indelable impression on us as young boys. I like the new outfit I don't think it strays too much from the original. It is one of the few things I like in the new 52. Now I'll have to rethink my render so as to not copy on yours. Well done.

Well with the work from fellow artist like yourself, PDSmith, Mustang, NICELabs and may others that I call friends, I have to keep up! I may have upped the anntie a little but pretty soon one of you will throw out an image that will have the rest of us picking our jaws up off the floor. I know it is not a competition between all of us, but it is great to have friends that continually challenge you and refuse to let you stagnate! I am glad you like the image and am sorry if I swiped the wind from your sail. I look forward to seeing what you throw out there for this suit.
I haven't read any of the new comics, so I can't base it on anything other than what I have seen, and although it is similar to the old suit it is different enough to be a fresh idea and I hope it does well. It is growing on me, have to get used to the blue boots now but hey change is good and it beets the leggings from one of the previous outfits.

I realized after this was done that the only thing that would have made it better was to have Christina Carter as the new Wonder Woman, but after running my laptop at 100% for 37 hours, I figured it was best to go with what I had here. I may come back and do Just a Christina Carter Wonder Woman in the future. Thanks for the comments and I am glad that you liked it.

Lovely work and nicely done. Of course as fetish models and damsels in distress go, no one can beat the original Wonder Woman. All the bondage references... losing her powers when restrained by a man, supporting the training of slave girls.... the list goes on. You're just being historically accurate and one for nostalgia

You honor me greatly with that comment Steve, the minute I saw this suit I wanted to do this. I tried to make this as simple and to the point as I could, the old passing the torch to the new which is signified by the tiara. I didn't want to to be confused with some of my other works, so I found a simple pose and worked from there. You can't see it but they are holding hands to the outside of the pose and they are both holding the tiara to the inside and many cultures use the touching of foreheads as a passing of knowledge, wisdom and affection. Guess I was in one of those moods where I wanted to be serious for a moment and your comment made it all worth it. Thanks.

Stunned silence, that is absolutely incredible. As for growing up with Superfriends and then WW on TV in the 70's. I was the same way. it left a huge impact how what I found to be sexy, beautiful and pleasing for the look of a woman. Damn fantastic image!
